Things to Do on Koh Tao!
Go Scuba Diving on Koh Tao with Big Blue Diving!
Koh Tao is world-famous as a scuba diving destination. With many shallow coral reefs, isolated pinnacles and even deep shipwrecks, Koh Tao is a great place to dive. That's without mentioning the amazing marine life - reef fish, moray eels, sting rays, even sharks and turtles - you can see it all around Koh Tao.
We have our own dive centre at Silver Sands Resort. 'Big Blue Diving' providing a range of diving services, so, whether you want to learn to scuba dive, or are already certified, we'll provide you with the best possible diving experiences.

All guests are welcome to come and use the pool behind the dive shop, there are frequent BBQ's and promotions on in the bar too. You'll soon be able to get a feed at our soon to be built restaurant or just enjoy a nice cold beer.
Go on a Snorkeling Trip around Koh Tao
You have a couple of options when it comes to snorkelling around Koh Tao as you can rent a mask and snorkel from our reception and head down to the beach and explore Sairee Reef or take a long tail taxi over to the Koh Nang Yuan marine park (there is an entry fee to go onto the island there) to snorkel and explore the rich marine life around Koh Nang Yuan.
You can take a Thai cooking course on Koh Tao, if you aren't on Koh Tao for scuba diving and the weather isn't great or you just want to pick up a new skill. There are a number of Thai cooking schools on Koh Tao, but the one we recommend is Parawan's Thai Home Cooking Class where you will get to cook 3 Thai dishes over 3 to 4 hours at Parawan's house who runs the cooking classes and then get to eat the food that you make there.
